December 2022 I graduated from Western Michigan with a B.S in Computer Science with Cum Laude distinction. I am looking for an opportunity to put what I have learned to the test. I am a hard worker and fully dedicate myself to whatever tasks I am working on. My greatest asset is my willingness to accept what I don't know and quickly learn it. There is nothing I enjoy more than learning new skills, so there is no role I won't try. Most of my development experience is in Python, C, C#, and Java. I also have experience in some front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap, VueJS, and Angular. At TEKSystems I was able to grow my technical knowledge working first hand with GuideWire ClaimCenter, Microsoft SQL Server, Gosu, Kotlin, Spring Boot, Java, Git, Jenkins, Splunk, Jira, and Confluence.

    Associate Software Developer for Teksystems placed at Auto Owners Insurance on a 6 month contract. Configuration developer working on Guidwire ClaimCenter software. Completed ClaimCenter configuration training and began ClaimCenter integration training. Heavily contributed to the upgrade project from ClaimCenter 9 to ClaimCenter 10, a year long mission critical project.

  • HPC De Novo Peptide Sequencing with Transformers
    Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan / January 2022 - Present

    Developing a new ENAS model with Python and PyTorch. Seeking to improve the accuracy, coverage, and speed of De Novo peptide sequencing by making use of transformer based self-attenuating neural networks. These adaptations to the existing De Novo sequencing technologies could see an improvement to 98% - 99.8% accuracy with nearly 100% coverage.
